Wednesday: Open Table Breakfast 6:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.
Table Groups meet throughout the week in homes and in the community.
September 8 – October 27 | Living for Something Larger: Lessons from Nehemiah
The wall of Jerusalem lay in ruins as God’s people suffered defeat at the hands of their enemies. They had been defeated, disgraced and displaced as many were in exile. Then Nehemiah heard about the plight of the city and God’s people and stepped up to the challenge. He led the people to rebuild, renew and be revived. Join us on Sundays at 11 a.m. for this exciting series as we discover what it takes to restore a sense of vitality to our spiritual lives and to live the exciting adventure of faith.
September 29th, October 6th, October 20th | Project 212 Next Generation Town Hall Meetings
There will be a series of town hall meetings where the SLC will share an update and initial findings from their work together. These will take place in the Fellowship Hall on September 29th at 9:30 a.m. and 12:15 p.m., October 6th at 12:15 p.m., October 20th at 12:15 p.m.
October 12 | Fall Festival
Join us from 2-5 p.m. on Saturday, October 12 at the Lyles Crouch playground (530 S. Saint Asaph Street, Alexandria) to celebrate the fall season together. We will have family-friendly games, snacks, and fellowship. All are welcome. October 18 & 19 | Cultivate: A Woman’s Gathering
Passionate about the life-changing Word of God? Gather with our Women’s Ministry and hundreds of other women at Cultivate on October 18th and 19th. Worship with others, dig deep into the Bible with Kelly Minter. The event is $40 (price increases October 7th) and will be held at Cornerstone Chapel in Leesburg, VA. October 20 | Church on South Washington Cookout
We are four churches (Beulah Baptist, DBC, Roberts Memorial United Methodist Church and Washington Street United Methodist Church), united in our desire to see lives changed through the love of Christ. On Sunday, October 20 at 4PM we are gathering for a cookout at Ft. Ward Park. We’ll have a time of worship followed by great food, games for all ages and fellowship.
