Directions and Parking

Downtown Baptist Church is centrally located in the heart of Old Town Alexandria at 212 South Washington Street.
 
Directions to Downtown Baptist:
 
From Northern Virginia
Take 1-95 North toward Baltimore/Washington.
Exit at US 1-North, Exit #177B (Old Town, Alexandria).
Follow US 1-North to Duke St and turn RIGHT onto Duke St.
Follow Duke St to South Washington St and turn LEFT onto South Washington St.
The church is ½ block on the RIGHT.
 
From Southern Maryland
Cross Woodrow Wilson Bridge on I-95.
Take the first exit, Exit #177C (Mount Vernon) onto Church St.
Follow Church St to South Washington St and turn LEFT.
Follow South Washington St across Duke St.
The church is ½ block on the RIGHT.
 
From Washington, DC at 14th Street, NW
Cross the 14th St Bridge.
Take Exit #10B toward Mount Vernon/Reagan National Airport.
Merge onto George Washington Memorial Parkway, South for 4 miles where it becomes North Washington St.
Follow North Washington St across King St, where it becomes South Washington St.
The church is 1½ blocks on the LEFT.

Parking
For Sunday and Special Services
The Atrium - Underground parking is available directly across the street from the church under the Atrium Building. Drive around to the back of the Atrium building on South Columbus Street. You enter the underground parking garage from this entrance.
Please Note: You must exit the parking garage no later than 1:30 p.m.; otherwise, your vehicle will be locked up until the garage opens on Monday morning.
 
The BB&T Bank Building - This parking lot is located on the corner of South Washington and Duke Street, behind the bank building.
 
At Any Time
Meter Street Parking - You can park at meter spaces on some of the streets surrounding the church.
Please Note: You do not have to feed the parking meters on Sunday. Read the signs carefully that are posted concerning the restrictions applying to parking at that location and the time allotted (it varies by location) so that you do not get a ticket or have your vehicle towed away.
 
Residential Street Parking - You can park on residential streets surrounding the church but there are time limits for this parking.
